Jacksonville Café Closure
After two and a half years and countless drinks served, the tough decision has been made to close our Jacksonville café. Our brand has so enjoyed our time within Jacksonville, but we have mutually agreed with our Licensee to not renew our agreement. They will be exploring a new venture and we wish them all the best. You may be wondering what this means for Lucky Goat Coffee and what’s next in our story. We get it! Rest assured – we are a brand here to stay with much on the horizon!
So what’s next for Lucky Goat in Jacksonville? In the immediate, we will not be opening another café in the city. With a new café in Valdosta, Georgia, and expansion plans across the company, we are focusing our time and support into delivering top-quality products and experiences.
While we won’t be present for your morning coffee in the café, or as your perfect study spot, you don’t have to say goodbye to the beans you love so much! You can still find our coffee online experience Lucky Goat Coffee at home. We have our tried-and-true favorites, and new products coming your way; so, stay tuned by signing up to our newsletter.
One new product we have been excited to introduce, is our first ever offering from Burundi, a small landlocked country in East Africa that produces beautiful coffees. This coffee has been hand selected by our expert team and has notes of lemon, dried apricots, and black tea. Check out our guide to manually brew at home with this vibrant and unique coffee for a smooth summer drink.
In addition to new single origins, our Single Serve Pods are making a comeback after bringing production in-house. This expansion will lead to new coffees offered in single serve form, and an ability to produce nearly 5 million pods a year. This is the easiest way to get the Lucky Goat experience in your home. Decaf, Billy Goat, Black Gold, Southern Pecan, and Goat Tracks will be the first offerings in this expansion, with many more to come!
