Josh Gagnier

With a deep passion for the food and beverage industry, our Cold Brew Master Josh eagerly embraced the new challenge of joining Lucky Goat Coffee. Before this, he honed his brewing expertise at Lake Tribe, where he crafted beers with unique flavors and advanced brewing techniques. Originally from Connecticut and North Carolina, Josh settled in Tallahassee for grad school. His appreciation for coffee blossomed during his grad school study sessions, where it became his trusted companion as he earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry.

Josh is the mastermind behind all of our cold brew, overseeing everything from brewing and preparing to packaging and cleaning. For him, the blend of science and cooking in his role is the perfect mix.

When he’s not perfecting our cold brew, Josh can be found hitting the gym, experimenting in the kitchen, or enjoying quality time with his family. His enthusiasm for coffee is rivaled only by his belief that the more coffee, the better!
