Twenty locations! When we started roasting coffee in Tallahassee back in 2010, that number probably would have seemed unimaginable. But here we are — and we couldn't be prouder to announce that Lucky Goat Coffee has just opened its 20th location in Destin, Florida. 

A Milestone Worth Celebrating 

Opening a 20th café is a big deal for any coffee brand. For us, it means something more: it's proof that the idea behind Lucky Goat — that great coffee should be approachable, craft-driven, and community-rooted — works anywhere. From our first wholesale deliveries across the Southeast to our first retail café in Tallahassee to the 19 locations that followed, every step has been guided by that same belief. 

Destin is a community that deserves great coffee, and we're honored to be the ones to bring it. 

How Franchising Made This Possible 

Lucky Goat opened its first franchise café in 2025, and the growth since then has been remarkable. Our franchise model isn't just about expanding a business — it's about finding people who are genuinely passionate about coffee and their communities and giving them the tools to build something meaningful. 

Each Franchisee’s investment in their local community is something you can feel when you walk into a Lucky Goat café — whether you're in Texas, Georgia, across Florida, or now in Destin. The coffee is the same. The craft is the same. But the community around it is entirely their own. 

That's the thing about franchising done right: it doesn't dilute a brand, it deepens it. 

What Community Means to Us 

Lucky Goat has always been more than a place to get coffee. From the beginning, our cafés have been spaces where people gather — before work, after a run, for a first date, for a hard conversation, for no reason at all other than that they needed a great cup and a comfortable seat. 

Over 16 years, we've watched those moments add up. We've seen regulars become friends with our Baristas. We've hosted hundreds of fundraisers, supported local causes, and watched neighborhoods grow around our cafés. We've become part of the rhythm of daily life in the communities we serve, and that's not something we take lightly. 

Every new location is a chance to do that again. To show up, pour something great, and become part of someone's routine.
