Tour Our Lafayette Café
On the weekend of Lucky Goat Coffee’s 14th birthday, we welcomed our sixth local café in Tallahassee, our Lafayette Café! With our first month of business under our belt, we are thrilled to introduce you all to this beautiful space and serve the neighborhoods, businesses, and schools in the area.
Conveniently located across from the Governor’s Square Mall and in the Indian Head-Leigh neighborhood, this building has been around since the 1960s and comes with a lot of Tallahassee charm. Our construction period consisted of pouring brand new concrete floors, converting the floor plan to match our Lucky Goat standard, improving the landscaping, and renovating the lobby, including installing a wall-to-wall coffee plant mural. Our team of employees, managers, and contractors has been working hard to bring another cozy Lucky Goat Café to Tallahassee.
Being based in such a beautiful city, we knew that having plentiful outdoor seating would be a big priority for this new space. The Lafayette Café features our largest patio yet and is ready to host customers looking to enjoy the crisp mornings to come. There are four-top and two-top tables equipped with umbrellas that line our patio, adjacent to blooming wildflowers in certain seasons. We love sipping our coffee in the early mornings on this spacious patio.
The Lafayette Café has been designed as our Franchise Model Café and Training Center for all franchise owners, or Franchisees. Here, you’ll see lots of training starting up as we prepare to open the doors of franchises in new cities. With extra space for brewing, this will also be the location that houses our catering program. As we get this café up and running, you may start to see pickup orders shift to this new café. We hope it gives us space to expand our brewing capacity and serve more of you for your meetings and events.
We’re thrilled about the space that this café offers both inside and out. But, if you’ve been a Lucky Goat regular for some time now, you’ll know that consideration for parking is crucial to being able to quickly stop in for your caffeine boost. This café has ample street parking and is conveniently located in a strip with surrounding businesses. Like our South Adams Café, there is dedicated Lucky Goat parking, as well as several sides of the building lined with spots.
This beautiful space is staffed by a rock star group of baristas. As a mix of seasoned employees and brand-new faces, they are ready to welcome you in with a smile and prepare your favorite beverage and pastry. If you haven’t stopped by yet, add it to your Summer Bucket List and bring a friend!
