Kati Joyner

Kati joined Lucky Goat in 2022 after moving from Alexandria, Virginia to Tallahassee. Before joining the team, Kati worked as a barista at a Northern Virginia coffeehouse and roastery, where they discovered they loved crafting coffee just as much as drinking it. Today, as Café Leader at Capital Circle, they keep the café running smoothly and bring warmth and creativity to every shift.

Kati is known at Lucky Goat for two things: connecting with customers and drawing adorable cartoon animals on kids’ hot chocolates. Their passion for coffee started early — sneaking sips of their mom’s cup on the way to school.

When she’s not at the café, you'll find her hanging out with her two beloved pets: Fiona, her three-footed cat, and Earlybird, the dog she found in her driveway at 5am on her way to open the shop.
