At Lucky Goat, Great Coffee and thoughtful choices go hand in hand. As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for ways to reduce waste, encourage reuse, and make sustainability part of the everyday café experience. From recycling programs to reusable drinkware incentives, these initiatives help us serve the community while caring for the planet.
Coffee Bag Recycling Program
One of our most impactful sustainability efforts is our Coffee Bag Recycling Program, available in all Lucky Goat cafés.
To give you a glimpse inside our recycling program, we have partnered with Savor Brands to upcycle our coffee bags. Guests can come to any Lucky Goat Cafe and dispose of their empty coffee bag to a designated in-café Zero Waste box. When the Zero Waste Boxes are full, they are shipped back to be processed through Arqlite, an upcycling innovation company that converts plastic materials, like our coffee bags, into pellets that can be used as sustainable gravel. It’s a simple way for customers to reduce waste while supporting circular solutions.

Refillable Growlers
Our sustainability efforts don’t stop with bagged coffee; cold brew fans can take advantage of our refillable growler program. Instead of purchasing a gallon each time, guests can bring back their growler for fresh refills.
This option helps cut down on disposable containers while making it easier to keep your favorite Lucky Goat cold brew stocked at home. It’s convenient, cost-effective, and better for the environment.
Bring Your Own Mug & Save
No matter the location, guests can bring their own mug or tumbler to receive 10% off their drink purchase.
Choosing a mug seem small, but over time it can significantly reduce the number of disposable cups entering landfills. Plus, it’s a great way to personalize your daily coffee ritual while saving a little money.
Bringing your own mug also keeps drinks hotter or colder longer, adds a personal touch to your routine, and offers a simple way to save money while making a more sustainable choice.
Reusable Lucky Goat Tote
Our reusable Lucky Goat tote is also available for purchase in cafés and online, giving guests another easy way to support sustainable habits beyond their coffee order. Reusable totes help reduce the need for single-use shopping bags and are perfect for carrying coffee beans, groceries, work essentials, or everyday items.
