Joe Anthony
Coffee runs in his veins for sure! Our Master Roaster, Joe, has grown up around coffee his whole life. With his Grandfather running coffee farms in Central America, Joe has seen the process firsthand, which led to a now almost 15-year career in the coffee roasting industry. After working as a roaster in Seattle for 10 of those years, Joe found his way to Lucky Goat Coffee through a job opening online in 2020 and it’s been a perfect fit ever since. Joe thrives to make our coffee better each day, whether that’s by cupping, chatting with other roasters, or learning more about the roasting process.
On an average week, Joe drinks anywhere from 15-20 cups of coffee, and takes it black. His favorite Lucky Goat coffee is our Ethiopian ARDI.
Outside of the Lucky Goat office, you can probably find Joe cooking. From making French bread to harvesting from his gardening hobby, he puts the same amount of passion into his work as he does his personal pastimes.
